Churches

Adami Restoration has worked on several churches around the city, including the Church of the Transfiguration on 29th St and the Fourth Universalist Society on Central Park West.

The Church of the Transfiguration was built in 1850 and was named a national landmark in 1973. It served as a stop on the Underground Railroad during the Civil War and as a sanctuary for African Americans during the New York Draft Riots of 1863.

The Fourth Universalist Society in the City of New York built the Cathedral of Universalism in 1898. It has a history that includes such names as Frank Lloyd Wright and Andrew Carnegie and houses significant works of art.
